Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda is charged with the responsibility of projecting, protecting and advancing the national interests in a competitive environment. Its daily activities are premised on:

• the Ministry's vision of Uganda as a secure nation with a prosperous people;
• its mission Statement: to promote and protect Uganda's national interests; and
• its mandate: to ensure maximum benefits from the harmonization of Uganda's foreign and domestic objectives.

All the above three are in absolute consonance with the theme of the 2006 NRM Manifesto-Prosperity, Transformation and Peace.

Uganda does not have a Central Authority at present, so it may be best to submit requests to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
