Provision arising from the law on banks and financial companies (banking provision), SR 952.01, 1994

Liechtenstein's provision arising from the law on banks and financial companies (banking provision), SR 952.01, was passed on 22 February 1994.

According to article 1 the governmental provision serves to regulate banking activities as per article 3, paragraph 3 of the banking law, in particular:

• the accceptance of deposits and other repayable funds;
• the loaning of escrow funds to an undefined circle of borrowers;
• the deposit business;
• performing financial transactions for third parties;
• asset management and investment advice, insofar as a separate account is not held for every customer with a bank.
