The Law N° 17.835 - Anti-Money Laundering was passed by the Uruguayan Parliament on 14 July 2004.
The law criminalizes the laundering of proceeds of crimes related to narcotics, organized crime and terrorist acts. The text of the law is just available in Spanish.
