The Swiss Criminal Code (RS 311.0) was adopted on 21. December 1937.
It includes a number of offences regarding money laundering, terrorist financing, or related behavior.
The offence of money laundering criminalizes an act that is aimed at frustrating the identification of the origin, the tracing or confiscation of assets, which the perpetrator knows or must assume originate from a serious crime.
