The Treaty in International Criminal Law between Argentine Republic, Republic of Paraguay, Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Republic of Bolivia and Republic of Peru was adopted at Montevideo on 23 January 1889.

This Treaty must facilitate and regulate the cooperation among the State Parties to ensure the effectiveness of measures to prevent the crime.
