International Legal Assistance - Swiss Database on Mutual Legal Assistance

The website International Legal Assistance (in German: Internationale Rechtshilfe) contains useful information about Mutual Legal Assistance between Switzerland and other countries.
Not only foreign authorities but also individuals, who works with international legal assistance, can use this website to find out which legal formality is necessary to request legal assistance from Switzerland.

The databak is in three parts structured:
   1. Criminal law, which contains a Checklist and a guidance for international legal assistance in criminal law;
   2. Civil law, which contains guidance and data sheet for international legal assistance in civil law; and
   3. Legal Assistance leader, contains not only an example of legal assistance request and a standard form but also a index with countries legal formalities.
