The Terrorism Law 2003

In 2003, the Cayman Islands passed the Terrorism Law, a comprehensive piece of anti-terrorism legislation that implements the UN Convention on the Suppression of Financing of Terrorism.

The Terrorism Law provides for mutual legal assistance and extradition in relation to terrorism and terrorism financing. The legislation aims to combat terrorism and to suppress the financing of terrorism.
