The Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act 1889 (Cap.69) of the United Kingdom was adopted on 30 August 1989.

This is an Act for the more effectual Prevention and Punishment of Bribery and Corruption of and by Members, Officers, or Servants of Corporations, Councils, Boards, Commissions, or other Public Bodies.

Together, the Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act 1889, the Prevention of Corruption Act 1906, and theĀ Prevention of Corruption Act 1916 are known as the Prevention of Corruption Acts 1889 to 1916.
