Introduction

Vladimiro Lenin Montesinos Torres was the right hand man of president Alberto Fujimori of Peru, whose presidency lasted from 28 July 1990 to 17 November 2000. Montesinos was officially head of Peru's secret service (Servicio de Inteligencia Nacional SIN) and de facto presidential advisor and national security advisor.
