The Law N° 1.768 of 10 March 1997 modifies the penal code, criminalizes the money laundering related to the drug trafficking, the activities of the organized crime and the public corruption.
The Law N° 1.768 also created the Financial Invastigation Unit (UIF) of Bolivia.
