View & download:

The Swiss Law on Narcotics (in German: Betäubungsmittelgesetz, BetmG, SR 812.121) was adopted on 01 June 1952.

The Law not only fights against both the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics but also regulates the use of narcotics for medical purposes.

The Law was amended slightly in 1970 when Switzerland signed the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961.

English is not an official language of the Swiss Confederation so the text of the Law is available in German, French, and Italian.
