Nuttall corruption case in court

Corruption charges against the former Queensland Government minister Gordon Nuttall have been mentioned in the District Court in Brisbane.

It is alleged Nuttall corruptly received money from businessman Ken Talbot on more than 30 occasions.

Nuttall is also accused of receiving a secret commission from another businessman Harold Shand.

The court heard Nuttall's trial will go ahead on June 29.

Two witnesses, including the former premier Peter Beattie, will give evidence via video link on July 2 and 3.

More than 40 witnesses are expected in what has been described as a lengthy and complex trial.
